Robert L. Schmurr, DVM

A 1989 graduate of Oklahoma State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, I spent the first 14 years of my career as an Officer in the United States Army Veterinary Corps. In 1999, I graduated from a surgical residency at Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. During this three year surgical residency, I had the opportunity to work with the nations’ best veterinary surgeons in orthopedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and oncologic surgeries. Additionally, had the opportunity to work with top specialists in the areas of internal medicine, anesthesia, radiology, pathology, and emergency medicine.

I established Pikes Peak Veterinary Surgical Care in 2003 and have the privilege of working with some of the finest veterinarians our community. I look forward to providing our community with quality advanced surgical care.
